Discovery Decor Lighting is a sister company of Discovery DJ & Lighting. Discovery DJ has been in business since March of 2000. Owner Jim Weisz started the company as he entered college, and went on to provide DJ services for hundreds of events around the Chicago area. Jim relocated to Dallas in 2003 and re-established his successful DJ business in the DFW area.
In 2010, Discovery DJ started offering uplighting as an add-on to their Dallas DJ service. Discovery Decor Lighting was the result of the increased demand for quality lighting for wedding receptions. While Discovery originally earned the reputation as one of the top DJ companies in Dallas, it is quickly earning a similar reputation when it comes to lighting, too!
