What’s included with your wedding uplighting

We’re built to make wedding uplighting easy and affordable. Here’s what that actually means.

You work with the owner

We’re a small company, and we like it that way. You won’t get passed to a sales rep or an account manager. All communication will come from the owner, Jim Weisz, who has been in the DFW wedding industry for 20+ years. It’s a real conversation about your room and your colors, not a form letter and an upsell.

Low prices, and nothing sneaky on the invoice

We keep our prices low because we’re small, so our overhead is much lower. Just as important, we don’t pad the quote with the fees other companies tack on:

  • No service fee. Some companies add a “service charge” on top of the quote. We don’t.
  • No setup or teardown charge. Placing the lights and packing them up is part of the job, not an add-on.
  • No delivery charge. We come to your venue. That’s included too.

The good lights, and zero cords

These are professional wireless uplights, the same gear used at high-end events, not the cheap battery cans you’d get from a DIY rental. Every light is wireless and battery-powered, so there’s nothing taped to the floor and nothing to trip over. It looks cleaner, and it gives us a lot more flexibility in where we put them.

We supply a remote. You run the lights however you want

Want to change the look of the room as the night goes on? You can, and as far as we know we’re the only company in Dallas that lets you. We give a remote to whoever you want to be in charge of the lights (often your planner, band, DJ, or a friend or family member).

We set the first color before the doors open, and most couples stick with that through dinner. When the party starts, there are options to pick a specific color to change to, have the colors slowly rotate, or even have the lights change to the beat of the music. The new vibe can really change the atmosphere and help get people moving.

You don’t touch a thing

We arrive before your guests, set up, and come back at the end of the night to pack it all up. You’re not charging batteries, guessing at placement, or returning a rental the next morning. We handle the lights so you can enjoy your wedding.

We’re a division of Discovery Lighting, the DFW lighting company that’s worked close to 100 venues over the past 15 years. Same experience, value pricing.

Common questions

How much does wedding uplighting cost in Dallas?

It depends on a variety of factors, so that’s why we give a quote for your wedding specifically instead of posting a price that won’t match your day. The good news: we keep prices low, and the quote includes setup, teardown, and delivery with no extra fees (for as many lights as needed to make the room look great!). Send us your date and venue and we’ll get you a real number fast.

Can I just rent the uplights?

You can rent elsewhere, but we don’t do drop-off rentals. We’re a full-service lighting company who offers reasonable prices. By the time you rent, charge, place, and return a DIY set, we’re often about the same price and you do none of the work.

How many uplights do I need?

That depends on the room. We figure it out for you and use as many as it takes, and you’re not paying per light, so there’s no guessing on your end.

Do you set everything up?

Yes. We arrive before your guests, set up, and come back at the end of the night to pack it all up. You never have to think about it.

What colors can I get?

Just about any color! Our wireless uplights can make over 1 million different shades of color.

What areas do you serve?

The whole DFW area. Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Grapevine, Southlake, Denton, Flower Mound, and everywhere in between.
